PRIVATE LESSONS:

Special Note (June 28th, 2009):  At the moment we are not taking any more private students due to our travel schedule and local constraints.   Please check back with us in August or September.
  1. The base rate to study with either Homer or Cristina is $100/hr (plus any floor fees) for one person or couple.
  2. New private lesson students are required to bring a partner.  This is in order to help us out with our physical requirements and help us maintain our energy levels.  We hope you understand...
  3. Cristina and I will usually teach alone unless you request to have us both work with you (and your partner) at the same time?   Then the price is doubled ($200 per hour + associated floor fees).

LOCAL SPECIALS:
All "local specials" are offered at the Allegro Ballroom, Emeryville, CA.
The $10/hr floor rental fee is included in the quoted price.
Allegro Ballroom
5855 Christie Avenue
Emeryville, California 94608
(510) 655-2888

Here are DIRECTIONS using public transportation:
  1. Take the BART to McArthur Station in Oakland.
  2. Take the Powell Street Emery-Go-Round free Shuttle (catch it infront of the BART station - there are two routes - take the Powell bus not the Hollis one, oh, and on the weekends take the Shopper's Express!!!).
  3. Exit at Kinko's (on Christie Ave near Powell intersection - tell driver you're going to Allegro Ballroom).
  4. Walk into the plaza that has the Wells Fargo Bank building, Denny's Restaurant, and Gas Station.  The Allegro is near the back end of a long series of shops (which includes a Cafe that has good food & coffee).
