Welcome to The Big Tango Band Project:

More Info:
This is an educational program sposored by Project Tango and guided by Homer Ladas.   It is intended to foster the development of a big tango dance band in our community and perhaps beyond...

Each musician or singer will be assigned by Homer a specific 1st, 2nd, or 3rd (etc) part or piece for each of the given songs we will be working on (see below for lead sheets).   When you're playing with our group you will be responsible for your assigned part.   If you're not jaming with us that day, then the next available musician will fill your shoes.   If you're not able to play with us for long periods of time we wil re-assign the music appropriately.   Lastly, Homer reserves the authority to make changes, as necessary, to keep the group healthy, learning, and growing...

To join in, please email Homer and inform him of your interest along with what instrument you'd like to play.

Big Band Schedule with upcoming dates as follows:

Currently we are on hold while we develop our new Big Band concept and find a suitable home and time frame for rehearsals... BR>
